Planning Your Running Schedule
One of the worst things you can do when training for a race is to wake up everyday and decide, on the spot, how many miles you’re going to complete that day. Even putting it off until the night before is a bad idea.
Having no plan allows for runs to be pushed off, weekly mileage becoming decreased, in-turn leading to an overall hit on your desired fitness levels. If you find yourself pushing runs off, you will find yourself on a death march / bonk-walk-shuffle the last 10K come race day!
